Aperture - definition

The Gap of a focal point shows how much light the focal point allows in. The bigger the gap, the more light is allowed in, on the other hand a more modest gap allows in less light. Estimated in f-stops, these are backwards esteems, as displayed in the opening outline beneath, the bigger the gap the lower the f-stop number. An opening of f/1.4 allows in more light than a gap of f/8.
